摘要：运用体裁分析方法展开的学术英语写作研究是当前学术英语研究的热点，值得注意的方面包括体裁分析的语料来源、语料的对比方法、体裁分析的具体内容及其在教学中的运用。基于数据分析的实证研究是学术英语研究中最为普遍的研究方法，呈现出如下特点：语料库研究方法的广泛运用、定性研究占据主流且定量定性混合研究并不少见、数据描写和分析框架可供国内研究借鉴。把握当前学术英语研究的热点和方法对于国内学界开展学术英语的教学与研究具有重要参考价值。

Abstract： Writing research from the perspective of genre analysis is the focus of the current English for Academic Purposes （EAP） research. Attention should be paid to data sources， date comparative methods， specific contents of genre analysis and its application in language teaching. Databased empirical research， the most frequently used method in EAP research， is characterized by the wide application of corpusbased method， dominance of qualitative research as well as a number of qualitative/quantitative researches， and the framework of data description and analysis that Chinese researchers can draw on. Understanding the focus and method of the current EAP research is of great significance for its reference to the EAP teaching and research in China.

一、前言

通常認为，学术英语（English for Academic Purposes，简称EAP）是旨在帮助学习者使用英语开展学习和从事研究的英语教学〔1〕。虽然具有学术英语性质的语言教学在英国的历史可以追溯到1960年代，但是迟至1974年伯明翰大学的教师Tim Johns在与英国文化协会两名官员的讨论中才首次使用了学术英语这一术语〔2〕，此后学术英语的教学与研究在英美等国逐渐发展壮大，成为应用语言学研究的重要分支。

在经济全球化和教育国际化的大背景下，学术英语的教学与研究近年来在中国渐成热潮：越来越多的大学为本科生和研究生开设了学术英语的相关课程，已经出版了学术英语的系列教材，上海市于2009年出台了国内第一个以学术英语为导向的地方性大学英语教改方案，以学术英语为题的研究论文呈逐年递增之势，创刊于2012年的《中国ESP研究》成为刊发学术英语研究论文的专门学术期刊，全国多所高校召开了以学术英语为专题的教学研讨会等等。……
