学生分析：

上课学生来自广西壮族自治区柳州市第一中学高一（5）班，在初中已经学习了三年英语，已经对英语课堂非常熟悉，对英语学习有着浓厚的兴趣，掌握了一定的单词量，并对英语有了一定的认知和兴趣，部分学生具备相当的听力和口语水平，但听说能力还有待于加强。学生在高一已经适应了高中英语的学习方式和上课方式，思维活跃，渴望得到同学和老师的赞许。他们经过一段时间对高中英语阅读的接触和学习，思维能力正从具体思维到抽象思维过渡。

教材分析：

英语人教版必修四第一单元第三课时的Listening & Speaking部分，中心话题是为课文标题“Women of Achievement”。作为高一英语课文本单元的语言知识和技能部分都是围绕“伟大女性及其成就”这一中心话题设计的，教者设计了新的听力内容来丰富教材。学生对这个话题并不陌生，通过学习这堂听说课，学生可以在通过练习提高听力和口语能力的同时学习到很多伟大女性和她们的成就，学会快速总结出听力内容大意，以及捕捉听力细节信息的能力，增强他们的英语听力和语言运用能力。此外，通过对包括母亲在内的伟大女性的成就的理解和学习，教育培养他们尊重劳动的意识，形成努力奋斗、珍爱家人的社会主义核心价值观，陶冶学生的文学情操，提高人文素养。
