摘 要：近几年来，我国高等教育已经取得了重大发展，普通高校发展的速度和规模异常迅速。在如今高校转型的时代背景下，地方本科院校的生存和发展正面临着前所未有的挑战。地方本科院校要在日益激烈的高等教育市场竞争中站住脚跟，最重要的是要发掘自己的育人特色，搭建符合自己学科特点的特色育人体系。该文以怀化学院物信系为例，分析了其工科专业的办学特点及特色文化的内涵，提出了符合专业发展方向的特色文化的建设内容和实施措施。

Abstract：In recent years， our country's higher education has achieved great development， the scale and speed of universities development is very quickly.Under the background of transition In colleges and universities， the survival and development of the local colleges and universities is confronted with hitherto unknown challenge. Local universities and colleges in order to remain invincible in the increasingly fierce competition of higher education market， the most important thing is to explore their own education characteristics， set up in line with the characteristics of education system of their own discipline characteristic. This papers takes Huaihua Universitys physics and information engineering department as an example， analyzes the connotation of engineering specialty characteristics and cultural features， put forward the construction contents and implementation measures of characteristic culture which In accordance with the professional development direction.

我国高等教育自1999年大规模扩招以来，已经进入了大众化发展阶段，高等教育的规模已跃居世界第一，截至2012年，我国共有普通本科高校1171所（含独立学院293所），其中，1999年以来新设地方本科院校共有647所，约占全国普通本科高等院校的55.3%[1]。与名牌高校相比，地方本院校在发展环境、发展机遇、发展速度和规模上面临着更大的挑战。地方性本科院校要在日益激烈的高等教育市场竞争中站住脚跟，唯一能做到的就是积极开展人才培养模式改革，立足地方，办出自己的特色，创造自己的品牌[2]。

结合我系实际，根据我系工科专业的办学特色，以我校“三位一体”育人模式和我系《大胆探索，扎实推进，开创物理与信息工程系应用型人才培养新模式》人才培养模式改革为指导，提炼我系特色文化的内涵，从精神文化层面、物质文化层面、行为文化层面、职业文化层面和技能文化等层面分析其建设的具体内容。……
