摘要：以遥感影像和实地调查相结合的方法对湖北省麻城市草地类型空间分布和特征进行了研究。根据中国草地分类系统，麻城草地可划分为6大类52型，主要分布于麻城市北部山区和东南部丘陵区。暖性灌草丛是分布最广、面积最大的一个类，除铁门岗乡外其他地区均有分布。热性灌草丛草地具有最高的牧草产量，平均干草产量达3 697.6 kg/hm2。草地每平方米物种数4～17种，与20世纪80年代第一次草地调查结果相比没有明显变化，生物多样性保持良好。

Characteristics and Spatial Distribution of Natural Grassland in Macheng County

Abstract： Based on the remote-sensing image and field investigation， the characteristics and spatial distribution of natural grassland in Macheng county were studied. According to the “Chinese Grassland Classification System”， the grassland in Macheng county embraced 52 types in 6 classes and most of them distributed in north mountainous area and south-east hill area. The area of warm scrub-grassland class distributed in whole county except for Tiemen town. The hot season scrub-grassland had highest hay yield which was 3 697.6 kg/hm2. The number of herbaceous plants in one square meter was 4～17 which was similar to the results obtained in first grassland resources survey in the 1980s.

湖北省麻城市位于大别山区，东北部高，西南部低，山地、丘陵和平原兼具，三面环山。版图面积3 747 km2，辖19个乡镇办事处，716个行政村，7 461个村民小组，人口115.82万人，农业人口占总人口的70.2%，为81.3万人。草地畜牧业是麻城的传统行业，对全市经济发展和农民致富具有重要作用，是农民收入的重要组成部分。据统计，2012年全市牛存栏26.73万头，羊存栏23.13万只，奶牛存栏量8 252头。

麻城自然条件优越，草地类型多样，加之当地具有牛羊养殖的传统，草地畜牧业发展迅猛。但由于近几十年全球气候的变化和人为因素影响，草地退化严重，牧草产量降低，载畜能力下降，这是制约该市草地畜牧业发展的关键因素。麻城市仅在20世纪80年代做过一次草地资源普查，调查成果对过去相当长一段时期麻城市草地畜牧业的发展起到了重要的指导作用。但距今已30多年，期间关于麻城草地资源和草地畜牧业方面的理论和应用研究没有跟上。……
