摘 要 网络教育是在信息技术发展中形成的一种教育方式，它是根据信息技术的特点使用网络形成一种新的教育系统，这种针对网络特点形成的远程教育方式即为网络教育。本文论述了成人高等教育现代化建设中网络教育的定义、成人高等教育现代化建设中网络教育应用的现状、网络教学普及的原因、成人高等教育现代化建设中的作用。

Explore the Role of Online Education in Adult Higher Education Modernization

Abstract Online education is an education formed in IT development， which is using the network to form a new educational system based on the characteristics of information technology for distance education network which is characterized by the formation of online education. This article discusses the definition of a network of adult education in the modernization of higher education， adult education online education status of the application modernization， network teaching reasons for the popularity of adult higher education modernization.

1 成人高等教育现代化建设中的网络教育

网络教育是在信息技术发展中形成的一种教育方式。过去人们接受学习通常使用脱产、业余、函授三种教育方式，随着信息技术的发展，人们可以在网上下载需要的学习视频、可以通过信息技术彼此交流学习成果、可以用网络技术完成作业等。人们要求用新的方式完成自己的学习，教育部门响应人们的需求，根据信息技术的特点使网络形成一种新的教育系统，这种针对网络特点形成的远程教育方式即为网络教育。

2 成人高等教育现代化建设中网络教育应用的现状

2.1 成人教育中网络教育发展的趋势统计

1999年，我国教育部门制定了《关于发展现代远程教育的意见》，并从网络技术上突破了远程教育的物理限制。2000年我国开办31家网络教育的专门学院，国家承认专门学院毕业生的文凭。2000年后网络教育院校的数量逐渐增多，截至2012年，我国远程教育学院的数量已增至68所。……
