摘 要：粗放型公路养护已无法适应公路养护需要，本文以定西市农村公路养护的现状及存在的问题入手，初步探讨出了一条农村公路科学养护的途径：（一）专群结合,深化农村公路管理养护体制改革。(二)推行 “两化一结合”的工作机制。(三)树立科学养护观，降低养护成本。(四)加大管养资金监管力度，提高资金使用效率。(五)加强对农村公路大中修工程的管理。(六)加大农村公路、桥梁新改建、渡改桥、安保工程等专项工程的实施力度。(七)开展标准化养护活动。

一、引言

近年来，随着公路等级的提高、机械设备的增加和机械化养护的普及，如何科学养护、管好农村公路，有效延长其使用寿命，向社会提供安全、快捷、舒适、经济、优美的行车环境，是实施可持续发展战略的重要研究课题之一。如何根据各地公路发展与养护的特点，因地制宜地解决好公路养护问题，具有重要意义。本文试图从分析甘肃省定西市农村公路养护的现状与存在的问题，探讨农村公路科学养护的措施和对策。

所谓科学养护就是指应用先进的养护技术和科学的管理方法，改善养护手段，提高养护技术水平，以一流的路况、一流的管理、一流的服务，推动公路养护管理走上一条低投入、低消耗、高效率，与人民群众安全便捷出行相适应、与自然环境相协调的可持续发展之路，使农村公路养护质量达到：路面平整，横坡适度，行车舒适；……
