案例教学法在商务英语写作教学中的尝试

随着中国经济日益融入全球经济一体化的格局,商务英语写作已经成为商务活动中的重要一环,商务英语写作技能也成为商务英语专业学生需要掌握的核心技能之一。作者在商务英语写作教学中尝试引入案例教学法,结合多媒体课件和互联网等现代化教学手段,提高学生学习英语写作的主动性和创造性,培养了学生的商务英语写作技能。

Abstract:Nowadays as Chinese economy is rapidly integrated with the global economy,business English writing has become an important link in business activities and consequently,business English writing skills has become one of the core skills that business English major students should grasp.With the help of multimedia courseware and internet,the author attempts to introduce the case teaching method into the business English writing course,so that the students can improve their initiative and creativity to study English writing and upgrade their bushiness English writing skills.

在当今全球经济一体化的格局下,国际商务活动日益频繁。这些商务活动包括技术引进、对外贸易、招商引资、对外劳务承包与合同、国际金融、国际旅游、海外投资、国际运输等,在涉及这些活动中所使用的英语统称为商务英语(Business English)。商务英语是英语的一种社会功能变体,是专门用途英语 (English for Specific Purposes,简称 ESP)中的一个分支,是一种包含了各种商务活动内容、适合商业需要的标准英语。商务英语写作 (Business English Writing)作为商务英语专业的核心课程之一,是以英语书面语进行商务沟通以达到各种商务目的的一种表达手段,是以文章为信息传播的载体,以推动各种商业活动为目标的社会实践活动。掌握熟练的商务英语写作能力是培养既熟练掌握语言技能和交际能力,又通晓国际经贸知识和规范的商务英语复合型人才的重要环节之一。如何改革传统的英语写作教学模式,激发学生学习商务英语写作的兴趣和主动性,提高学生的写作技能是值得我们研究和探讨的重要课题。……
