大学学前教育学科地位与使命的思考

学前教育学属于基础理论学科,这种学科性质使得学前教育学必须是学前儿童身心发展的理论研究。从这一立场出发,对以实践为主线的“学前教育管理学科”和学前教育课程与教学论为主线的“教师教育技能学科”的价值观和使命观提出了质疑,并期待以学前儿童身心发展的理论的理论研究为主线的“理论学科”能够担当起学前教育学的主流使命。虽然,目前学前教育学主要承担着三重使命,但是,学前教育学历史使命的本质是不会改变的,即推动学前教育研究走向科学化。

Abstract:Preschool pedagogy is a basic theoretical course,the nature of which determines that this course mainly studies on the preschool children's physical and mental development.This paper holds a skeptical attitude to the value outlook and mission of“Preschool Educational Management Discipline”based on practice and“Teachers'Educational Technical Discipline”based on the preschool education courses and pedagogy,and hopes that the“Theoretical Discipline”should take the main mission of the Preschool Pedagogy focusing on the theoretical study of the preschool children's physical and mental development.Although Preschool Pedagogy is mainly responsible for triple missions,the nature of its historical mission will never change,namely to promote the pre-school education study more scientific.

学前教育泛指的是0——6岁的儿童教育,而大学的学前教育学和国家的学前教育管理是为这个阶段的儿童的养育、保育及教育从而达到儿童的养成 (儿童身心全面发展)提供“服务”,所以学前教育的终极使命应该是也必须是以儿童为主体全面发展。

一、学前教育的学科和主流使命

对于学科的性质的研究和讨论需要有学科功能分析的基础,在此基础上建立起科学的分类和界定。对于教育科学的功能分类,一般来说分为基础理论学科和应用学科这两大类。学前教育学作为整个教育教学的一个分支,是一门基础理论学科还是应用学科呢?在实践教学过程中我们更倾向于把它看成是教育学的一个分支。因为“学前教育是指从出生到六岁前儿童的教育。……
