Once there was a potato farmer. He had to go to prison(监狱) because he had done something bad.

It was just the time to dig(挖) the ground for planting potatoes. The farmer was very worried. He knew his wife was not strong enough to do the digging by herself. What could he do？

Finally he had an idea. He wrote a note to his wife，“Please dont dig the potato field. I hid(藏) the money there.”

Ten days later he got a letter from his wife. “I think somebody read your note. Several policemen came here and dug up the whole potato field two days ago. What shall I do now？”

The farmer wrote back at once，“Plant the potatoes，of course.”
