[Abstract] With thedevelopmentofartificial inteligence，physical education inhigher education institutions is facing chalenges andinnovativeopportunitiesof integratingartificialintellgence.This paper elaboratesonthechanges brought byartificial intellgencetohigher education，explores theinnovativepathsandresponsestrategiesofphysical education inhigher education institutions in theeraof artificial inteligence.It specificallyanalyzes the challenges brought by artificialinteligencetophysicaleducationinighereducationinstitutionsinaspectsof teachingobjectivesandontents， teaching methods and means，and the roleandqualityofteachers，etc. At the same time，it elborates the innovative applications ofartificial inteligence in physical education in higher education institutions，including the construction of intelligent teaching platforms，intelligent trainingand assessment，and the integrationofcuriculum ideological and political education in physical education with artificial intelligence.

2024年4月12日，教育部高等教育司组织了首批“人工智能 + 高等教育”典型应用场景案例的征集和论证工作，确定了首批18个应用场景典型案例。这些案例涵盖多个领域，从北京大学的口腔虚拟仿真智慧实验室到国家开放大学的基于AI技术的大规模个性化英语教学创新实践等。这充分展示了人工智能在高等教育中的广泛应用及其前景。

同年，美国高等教育信息化协会发布《2024年EDUCAUSE地平线报告（教学版）》。报告从社会、技术、经济、环境和政治五个维度，总结了正在塑造全球高等教育教与学的十五种未来趋势，其中人工智能的影响尤为突出[2]。

第四次工业革命的冲击波使全球经济社会发展面临新一轮的发展、变革与调整，这不可避免地对高等教育的未来发展方向产生了重大影响。在这样的背景下，高等院校体育教育需要顺应时代潮流，积极探索与人工智能的深度融合，以进一步提高教学质量和学生的综合素质。
