对形容词与副词的考查多出现在完形填空、语法填空、短文改错等题型中，考查的点集中在其基本用法、比较等级以及构词法（其中以词性的转化为主）， 兼顾考查一些固定的搭配及特殊的句型。下面笔者将以近几年的高考题为例，分别从基本用法、比较等级、构词法等方面解析考点，旨在为学生的复习提供方向。

一、对形容词、副词基本用法的考查

形容词的考点集中在作定语、表语；副词的考查主要是作状语修饰动词、整个句子、其它形容词以及副词等。此外，还会涉及一些有关形容词、副词的固定搭配，需要学生特别注意。

2022年全国甲卷语法填空第66题：Cao believesthis will make the hiking trip even more    （meaning）.

解析：此处使用了make 复合结构，空处需用形容词作宾语的补足语，即空处填 meaningful。

2022年全国Ⅱ卷语法填空第38题：They both fellsleep） while watching TV.

解析：空前是系动词fell， 需用空处的形容词作表语。sleep作动词，是"睡觉"之意，fall asleep是固定搭配，为"熟睡的"，即空处填asleep。此题考查了动词变形容词，属于词性的转换，又涉及固定搭配的运用，考查了多个知识点。

2021年天津卷（第二次）单项填空第5题：The po- lice searched the area for several days.        ， theyfound the piece of evidence they were looking for：

A.General      B.Originally

C. Eventually   D. Unfortunately

解析：根据各个选项的意思，确定C 选项。此题是单项填空，学生可根据句意来确定空处的意思，考查的是副词的词义辨析，副词在句子中作状语，修饰整个句子。

2021年天津卷（第二次）完形填空第16题：My brother and I are exactly one year apart. We look liketwins， but we are completely

A.mature        B.different        C.content        D.normal

解析：根据上文出现的 my older.meditation， while I was.preferred the theatrical推知，哥哥与我是性格不同的，表达的是区别之意，则B 项为最佳。此题考查的是形容词的词义辨析，需要结合上下文的意思进行选择，保持语义上的一致性。

2021年全国 I 卷语法填空第60题：But that'show nature is —always leaving us   （astonish）.

解析：此题考查了"leave+宾语+宾语补足语"知识点，用于补充说明宾语（"us"）的感受，需用-ed结尾的形容词，则填astonished。

2021年全国 I 卷语法填空第63题：Though it is the only.. a place where you can sit down to rest your（ache） legs.

解析：根据语境，空处需用形容词修饰其后的名词legs，则填aching。

2021年全国乙卷语法填空第61题：It is different from ..to become   （educate）about the  areas—both ..cultural characteristics.

解析：该句考查了固定搭配 become educated about"对……有所了解"，则空处填educated。

2021年全国Ⅱ卷语法填空第41题：I told him how     （harm） plastic could be to the environment and asked him to consider using more eco-friendly op-tions.

解析：how 之后要跟形容词，需用harm的形容词形式harmful。

2021年浙江卷（1月）语法填空第43题：But 30 years  later，... many  countries  had  narrowed     （sharp）.

解析：空处修饰其前的动词narrow，需用副词形式，即填sharply。

2020年北京卷语法填空第2题：Oliver says if you're    （luck） enough to have someone close to youwho enjoys cooking …

解析：空前是系動词are， 则空处需用形容词形式作表语，即填lucky。

2020年全国Ⅱ卷语法填空第66题： （certain）during the holiday period， this plant is a must.

解析：空后是介词短语充当时间状语，空处需用副词形式才符合句子结构，则空处填Certainly，同时注意首字母大写。

2020年全国Ⅱ卷语法填空第69题：The  （beau- ty） long branches covered with pink-colored buds makefantastic decorations.

解析：空处修饰其后的名词branches，需用形容词作定语，则填beautiful。

通过上述真题分析，判断使用形容词与副词形式，除了依据其充当的成分，还要结合对句子的理解，以及一些常見的固定搭配。

二、对形容词、副词比较等级的考查

形容词与副词的比较等级包括原级、比较级与最高级。学生在掌握其功能与意义的基础上，牢记其变化的规则。在解题中，学生可根据提示词确定使用的等级。

2022年全国甲卷语法填空第68题：Cao haswalked through ...， he reached the top of Kilimanjaro， Africa' s    （high） mountain.

解析：根据句子中的the top of Kilimanjaro推知空处所表达的是最高的山脉，需用形容词的最高级形式，则空处填highest。此题是根据句子的意思判断使用最高级形式，并非是仅仅从形式上来判断。

2022年全国乙卷语法填空第64题：As a main promoter of the International Tea Day， the birthplace of tea and the    （large） tea-producing country..

解析：根据空前的the和句意推知需用形容词的最高级形式，即填largest。

2021年全国甲卷语法填空第45题：..we decided it was time for some action and what   （good） than toride on a piece of history！

解析：空后是表示比较的连（介）词than，此处需用形容词的比较级形式，则填better。

2021年浙江卷（6月）语法填空第39题：When the house was built， it was much   （small）than it is today.

解析：根据空前much 和空后的than推知，考查形容词的比较级，此处为固定结构"much+比较级+ than"，即空处填smaller。

2021年全国甲卷语法填空第59题：The amazing thing about the spring is that the colder the temperature gets， the   （hot） the spring！

解析：句子使用了固定结构"the+比较级，the+比较级"，则空处填hotter。

2021年浙江卷（1月）语法填空第45题：This may be due to some disadvantages ..， including   （low） lev-els of ...， higher costs ..， and fewer sports facilities.

解析：根据句意，including说明的是一些不利的条件，同时后面又有higher、fewer等，表达的是并列的关系，则空处也用形容词的比较级形式，即填lower。此题需要从句意上来推测空处需用比较级，根据前面出现的disadvantages一词，得知后面出现的情况属于并列。

2020年海南卷语法填空第37题：At the same  time，.. continue  to  develop     （education）computerprograms for children in preschool.

解析：空后是名词 computer programs，其前需用形容词形式修饰作定语，即填educational。

2020年全国 I 卷语法填空第69题：.such as how     ice and other treasures it contains， could help..

解析：空后是不可数名词ice，需用形容词，再结合句意，表达"多少"之意，则填much。

2020年全国Ⅲ卷语法填空第62题：..present thei     （fine） work， so that he could choose the best.

解析：根据句中 choose the best推知，空处表达的是"最好的"之意，需用fine的最高级，即为finest。

由上述真题可知，除了从提示词以及固定结构确定比较等级，还需要从句意上判断选用比较级还是最高级。

三、对形容词副词构词法的考查

针对形容词与副词构词法的考查，需学生掌握常见的构词规律：常见的形容词后缀：-al、-y 、-（a）n、- ful、-ous、-ive、-less、-ous、-able、-en、-some -ish、-ern、- like、-ese、-ly等。副词后缀多数是在形容词后加-ly。牢记构词法，帮助学生实现词性之间的快速转换。

2022年浙江卷（1月）语法填空第40题：..for ex- ample.    （rough）200 academics — many of themclimate  scientists.

解析：空处修饰其后的数字，需用副词形式rough- ly，表"大约地、粗略地"。

2022年全国 I 卷语法填空第63题：The GPNP's main goal is to improve..， and  （eventual）achieve a de-sired .. in the wild.

解析：空后achieve是动词，则空处需用eventual 的副词形式修饰动词作状语，即填eventually。

2022年全国Ⅱ卷语法填空第40题：When he looked down. he     （accidental ）slipped and fell overthe edge.

解析：空后是slipped为动词，空处需用副词修饰动词，即填accidentally，是"意外地"之意。

2021年全国甲卷语法填空第50题：..but we 语 stopped ..people going about thein   （day） routines.

解析：空处修饰后面的routines（名词）需用形容74  词，作定语，即填daily。

2021年北京卷语法填空第16题：Sam walked her to a nearby convenience store so that she could   （safe） wait for the police to take her home.

解析：空处修饰其后的动词·wait作状语，需用副词，即空处填safely。

2021年全国乙卷语法填空第68题：Provide  （finance）aid and other benefits for local peoples.

解析：空处修饰其后的名词aid，作定语，故用其形容词financial。

2021年全国Ⅱ卷语法填空第42题：I was so   （excite） when he wrote back to me.He said he would  make sure that the company cut its use of plastic strawsin half.

解析：空处作表语，需用形容词修饰人，用"v+ed"形式的形容词，即填excited。

2021年全国 I 卷语法填空第58题：It will   （undoubted） help you get refreshed！

解析：空处修饰其后的动词help，需用副词，表达"毫无疑问地"之意，则填undoubtedly。

2020年全国Ⅲ卷语法填空第68题：As the small boat moved  ，   （gentle）along  the  river  he  was  left speechless by the mountains being silently reflected inthe water.

解析：空处修饰动词moved，需用副詞作状语，即填gently。

2020年山东卷语法填空第36题：In the 18th and 19th centuries.    （wealth） people travelled and ..and works of art.

解析：空处修饰其后的名词people，需用形容词作定语，则填wealthy。

2020年全国 I 卷语法填空第62题：Landing on the moon's far side is     （extreme） challenging.

解析：空处修饰其后的形容词challenging，需用副词，即填extremely。

总之，掌握形容词与副词的基础用法、比较等级变化规则、构词规律等知识，就能提高对形容词与副词运用的准确性，从而提高解题正确率。
