设计意图：这两个句子是本课的重点句型，让学生反复操练，并说出“She couldn’t see.She couldn’t hear.”然后板书。

设计意图：学生通过问题引导，提取文本的基本信息。

设计意图：学生带着问题阅读课文，更能发挥学习的自主性。通过模仿“She drew letters in Helen’s hand”，体会海伦的艰辛，从而理解“She’s a role model for blind people and also for you and me.”理解课文，升华情感。

3.Read and fill in the blanks.

Read Paragraph 4 and get to know why Helen Keller is a role model.

设计意图：通过阅读填空，训练学生梳理基本信息的能力，提升对文本关键信息的分析思考能力。

Step 4.Post-reading.

1.Try to describe Helen Keller’s life.

2.Show the picture of Zhong Nanshan and introduce him.

3.Make a card about a famous person and talk to the class about him/her.

设计意图：联系当今社会，面对突如其来的新冠疫情，涌现出多少无名英雄。他们是我们的骄傲，是我们学习的榜样。这样适当增加信息输入，强化深化主题，达到学以致用、学科育人的目的。

第一，响应现代职业教育决策，以应用型技术技能型人才为培养目标。独立学院要尝试错位培养，符合应用型技术大学的特点，培养的技术技能型人才能够面向生产一线，具备熟练的操作能力和职业技能，走上岗位可以直接创造生产力。

设计意图：通过分享北京冬残奥会上奥运健儿们英姿飒爽的精彩瞬间，特别是我国运动健儿的出色表现，教育学生运动健儿是凭着坚强的意志、乐观的心态和积极向上的精神克服种种困难而战胜自我、超越自我的。
