[Abstract] Objective To explore the application and nursing effect of spiral nasojejunal tube in early enteral nutrition of acute severe pancreatitis. Methods A total of 68 patients with acute severe pancreatitis who were treated in our hospital from January 2019 to June 2020 and received non-surgical treatment were selected and divided into study group and routine group, with 34 cases in each group according to the randomization method. Both groups of patients were given early enteral nutrition support through spiral nasojejunal tubes. The study group was given clustered nursing intervention, and the routine group was given routine nursing intervention. The complications, physical indicators, length of hospital stay, and quality of life before and after nursing were observed in patients. Results The total incidence rate of complications in the study group was 5.88%, which was significantly lower than that of 26.47% in the routine group, with significant difference(P<0.05). The albumin level in the study group was significantly higher than that in the routine group, with significant difference(P<0.05). The blood amylase level was significantly lower than that in the routine group and the length of hospital stay was shorter than that in the routine group, with significant difference(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the quality of life scores between the two groups of patients before nursing(P>0.05). After nursing intervention, the quality of life scores in the study group were significantly lower than those in the routine group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The spiral nasojejunal tube can effectively provide good conditions for the treatment of patients. Combined with effective nursing intervention, this method can timely detect the complications of patients during treatment, and nursing intervention ensures the recovery of patients. This method is worthy of promotion and application.
