摘要： 在傣族文化中，象因体型高大力量威猛，象征着力量与王权;同时与“吉祥”中的“祥”字发音相同，被赋予“祥瑞”之意。“象”文化起源于人类造神时代，久远且深厚，在中国传统文化中具有重要地位，也是世界文化的重要分支。近年来，越来越多的服装品牌回归传统民族文化之中，更多的传统文化有待更深入地挖掘。文章以傣族“象”文化为例，概述傣族“象”文化，从图案设计、色彩搭配及现代工艺技术等方面，系统地探究传统文化在现代服装中的设计应用，丰富服装设计方法，为改善国潮服装发展现状，延展“象”文化分支，继承弘扬中国传统文化贡献力量。

Research on "elephant" culture of Dai nationality and its application in modern design

Abstract：

In Dai culture， elephant symbolizes power and kingship for its tall figure and mighty strength. At the same time， as it is pronounced the same as the Chinese character "xiang"， it is given the meaning of "auspicious". Originated from the era of human beings god-making， the time-honored and profound "elephant" culture plays an important role in Chinese traditional culture and it is also an important branch of world culture. Recently， as more and more clothing brands have been returned to the traditional national culture， more traditional culture needs further exploration. Taking Dai nationality "elephant" culture as an example， this paper summarizes the "elephant" culture in Dai nationality， systematically investigates the traditional culture in the modern apparel design from the perspectives of pattern design， color matching and modern processing technology， enriches clothing design methods， aiming to improve the current development of national clothing， extend the branches of "elephant" culture， and contribut to the inheritance and promotion of Chinese traditional culture.

目前国内外在“象”文化研究领域拥有部分相对较为完整的理论成果，例如国内肖琰[1]写的《隋唐时期象文化意蕴研究》中把隋唐时期的象文化进行系统分析与注释，刘晓巍[2]发表的《西双版纳南传佛教教育与傣族文化发展》中尝试把教育与傣族文化相结合，以及日本学者[3]在《雲南省ダイ族社会における自然崇拝と仏教—「寨心崇拝」と「穀霊信仰」の変容—》中讲述了云南傣族与佛教的关系演变等。……
