摘 要：民主集中制是中国共产党的根本组织原则、组织制度和领导制度。这一理论承继自列宁的党建学说，又在党的自身建设百年历程中实现了丰富与创新。党的民主集中制建设尽管遇到过挫折与失误，但依旧取得相当大的成就。中国共产党始终将民主集中制视作建党的本质要求、服务于事业的手段工具和灵活的领导艺术。一百年来中国共产党理解与运用民主集中制的实践与思想史，为新时代一以贯之地坚持民主集中制提供了宝贵的经验。

The CPCs Understanding and Application of Democratic Centralism over the Past Century

Abstract：Democratic centralism is the fundamental organizational principle， organizational system and leadership system of the Communist Party of China （CPC）. It came from Lenins party-building theory， and achieved enrichment and innovation in the century of the CPCs party building. Although the CPCs democratic centralism construction has encountered setbacks and mistakes， it has still made considerable achievements. The CPC has always regarded democratic centralism as the essential requirement of party building， the tool for the cause， and the flexible art of leadership. The practice and ideological history， in which the CPC understood and used democratic centralism over the past 100 years， has contributed valuable experience for consistently adhering to democratic centralism in the new era.

采取何种组织原则和制度进行自身建设，是近代以来世界上任何一个政党都必须直面的问题。中国共产党人经过一百年的艰辛努力，在承继国际共产主义运动经验的基础上，坚持并发展了民主集中制这一党的根本组织原则、组织制度和领导制度。梳理中国共产党理解、运用民主集中制的历程，既可以从一个侧面增进人们对建党一百年来辉煌成就的感性认识，也可以丰富人们对中国共产党政党学说、党的建设规律的理性思考。本文试图从中国共产党历史的基本史实出发，将这一历程分为新民主主义革命时期、社会主义革命与建设时期、改革开放新时期、党的十八大以来四个阶段加以叙述，以期加深人们对民主集中制科学内涵的理解，更加自觉地投身于实践。
