1月27日至29日，白俄罗斯驻华大使尤里·先科率团来渝访问并出席白俄罗斯驻重庆总领事馆开馆仪式等系列活动。

28日，市委副书记、市长唐良智会见代表团一行。唐良智代表市委、市政府，代表陈敏尔书记，对先科大使来华任职履新表示祝贺并欢迎其率团访渝。向其介绍了重庆的经济社会发展情况和对外开放格局，回顾了与白俄罗斯的友好交往合作历程。希望以白俄罗斯驻重庆总领事馆开馆为契机，进一步加强在机械装备、电子信息、汽车、农业、教育、卫生、旅游、中欧班列等方面合作。尤里·先科对重庆近年来经济社会发展取得的成就表示祝贺，感谢重庆为白俄罗斯抗击疫情提供的帮助。他说，白俄罗斯将把重庆作为与中国地方合作的重点区域，充分发挥驻重庆总领馆作用，拓展各领域务实合作。

On the 28th, Tang Liangzhi, deputy secretary of CPC Chongqing Committee and Mayor, met with the delegation. Tang Liangzhi, on behalf of the CPC Chongqing Committee, Chongqing Municipal Government and Secretary Chen Min'er, congratulated ambassador Senko on his new post in China, welcomed his delegation to Chongqing, introduced Chongqing's economic and social development and its pattern of opening up, and reviewed the course of friendly exchanges and cooperation with Belarus. He also hoped to take the opening of the Consulate General of Belarus in Chongqing as an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation in mechanical equipment, electronic information, automotive, agriculture, education, health, tourism, China-Europe Railway Express, etc. Yuri Senko congratulated Chongqing on its achievements in economic and social development in recent years and expressed his gratitude to Chongqing for its assistance in the COVID-19 fight in Belarus. He said that Belarus will take Chongqing as a key area for local cooperation with China, give full play to the role of the Consulate General in Chongqing and expand pragmatic cooperation in various fields.

1月28日，白俄罗斯驻重庆总领事馆开馆。这是继白驻上海、广州总领馆后，白方在中国内地设立的第三个总领馆。至此，外国驻渝总领事馆增至12个。市政府副市长李波、外交部领事司副司长童德发，以及来渝访问的白俄罗斯驻华大使尤里·先科出席开馆仪式并致辞。
