位于重庆两路口附近、距离市文化宫中门260米处的保卫中国同盟总部旧址，又名“重庆宋庆龄旧居”。走进大门，首先映入眼帘的是院中一尊洁白的宋庆龄塑像，手中捧着一束百合花，周围摆放着鲜花。

宋庆龄是伟大的爱国主义、民主主义、国际主义和共产主义战士，是20世纪举世闻名的伟大女性。在近70年的革命生涯中，宋庆龄坚强不屈，矢志不移，英勇奋斗，始终坚定地和中国人民、中国共产党站在一起，为中国人民的解放事业，为妇女儿童的卫生保健和文化教育福利事业，为祖国统一以及保卫世界和平、促进人类的进步事业殚精竭力，鞠躬尽瘁，作出了不可磨灭的贡献。

Located near Lianglukou of Chongqing, the site of China Defense League, also known as "Former Residence of Soong Ching-ling", is 260 meters away from the middle entrance of Chongqing Cultural Palace. A white statue of Soong Chingling standing in the courtyard, holding a bouquet of lilies in her hand, surrounded by flowers, leaps to your eyes once you step in.

保卫中国同盟总部旧址又名“重庆宋庆龄旧居”。

Soong Ching-ling (Mme. Sun Yat-sen) was an outstanding woman in China’s history, and the world’s, in the 20th century. She herself was, first and foremost, a revolutionary patriot of China, though international in her culture and contacts. Strength, faithfulness to principle, and high courage combined in her to a rare degree. Deeply branded with patriotism, her life was teemed with love and respect for her own country and people as its innermost core. Long experience of nearly 70-year revolutionary career gave her the firm belief that in China the core force for progress was the Chinese Communist Party. This was a conviction she acted on, through thick and thin, over many decades. Her patriotism was democratic, from youth to old age, as she fought for the right and duty of women and children as full equals in all fields, including health care and education, of the nation’s advance. Her contributions to the reunification of the nation as well as to the defense of world peace and the promotion of human progress were indelible.

该建筑由德国留学回国的工程师杨能深于1936年所建，反映了民国时期的建筑风貌，具有较高的建筑观景价值。占地面积1200平方米，总建筑面积为760平方米，有围墙与周边房屋、道路相隔。主楼曾为宋庆龄旧居及保卫中国同盟总部用房，坐西向东，依山而建，是一幢二楼一底砖木结构的德式建筑风格小楼。主楼色调为黄灰色相间，建筑面积500平方米，面阔20米，进深9米，通高15米。后楼为工作人员用房，房后另有一个躲避日军飞机轰炸的防空洞。现设在此处的“重庆宋庆龄旧居陈列馆”，设有宋庆龄与保卫中国同盟文物资料陈列展览和复原陈列，包括保卫中国同盟总部办公室、琴房、盥洗室，宋庆龄办公室、卧室、会客室等。……
