Atelier and I 坂本一成研究室

项目是位于上海当代艺术博物馆中的图书馆，在现有净高7m的房间中设置了3层楼板。为了将3层楼板连接起来，1/20的缓坡将房间整体螺旋状组织起来，由此3层的高差被平滑地连为一体。同时，沿着这个螺旋状的坡道布置书架，在创造出被书架包围的山谷般整体景象的同时，希望创造出无论身处何处，手都能够得着书架的效果。

Library located in the Power Station of Art in Shanghai.There are three layers of floors articulating the existing room which is seven-meter high.All the layers are smoothly connected by a gentle 1/20 slope in spiral composition.Moreover,the arrangement of the bookshelves along the spiral slope creates a valley of bookshelves.So that no matter where you stand,you can reach the bookshelf with your hands.
