摘要    药用植物园作为中医药高校教学和科研的实践基地，不仅在中医药教学、学生实践和科普学习等方面起着关键作用，在药用植物基源、栽培、珍稀濒危物种保存方面也有着重要的意义。本文介绍了湖北中医药大学药用植物园基本概况，阐述了时珍药园在药用植物栽培学教学和科研中的作用，以期为实现药用植物栽培学的高效教学提供参考。

Abstract    As a practice base for teaching and scientific research in Chinese medicine colleges and universities， medicinal botanical garden not only plays a key role in teaching， practice and popular science learning， but also plays an important role in the basic source of medicinal plants， cultivation and preservation of rare and endangered species. The paper introduced the basic situation of the medicinal botanical garden of Hubei University of Chinese Medicine， expounded the role of Shizhen Medicinal Garden in the teaching and scientific research of medicinal plant cultivation， in order to provide references for realizing the efficient teaching of medicinal plant cultivation.

药用植物园是集中药资源保存、科研、教育、科普于一体的教学实践及科研基地[1]，是最能体现中医药类院校办学特色的名片，是中医药类高等院校教学的第二课堂、科学研究的基础平台，也是中医药相关专业学习理论和实践相结合必不可分的组成部分。

药用植物园历史悠久，有文献显示，唐朝初期政府在京师建立一所百草园，意在栽培药材供太医院使用，此为中国最早药用植物园的雏形[2]。现代药用植物园诞生于欧洲，1543年建于意大利[3]，它最初用作药用植物教学实验基地;英国切尔西草药园始建于1673年，在1993年成为世界药用植物花园，用于世界各国药用植物的活体展示[4]。截至目前，全世界有2 400多个植物园[5]。现今，国内高校纷纷意识到其在药用植物资源栽培、教学及科研等方面的作用，建设药用植物园已成为一种趋势，如亚洲最大的广西药用植物园、上海中医药大学百草园、中国药科大学药用植物园等[6]。……
