镜子没有这么更加沉默

透进的曙光也不这么更为隐秘；

你，在月光下，豹子的模样

只能让我们从远处窥视。

由于无法解释的神圣意旨，

我们徒然地到处找你；

你就是孤独，你就是神秘，

比恒河或者日落还要遥远。

你的脊背容忍了我的手

慢条斯理地抚摸。你，

Mirrors are not more silent

nor the creeping dawn more secretive；

in the moonlight，you are that panther

we catch sight of from afar.

By the inexplicable workings of a divine law，

we look for you in vain；

More remote，even，than the Ganges or the setting sun，

yours is the solitude， yours the secret.

Yours haunch allows the lingering

caress of my hand.You have accepted，

since that long forgotten past，

the love of the distrusful hand.

You belong to another time.You are lord
