[Abstract] Iron-deficiency anemia is caused by a variety of reasons iron deficiency in the body, malabsorption or excessive consumption, resulting in anemia caused by inadequate production of red blood cells.IDA is prevalent around the world and is the most common form of anemia. The main population of iron deficiency anemia is pregnant women and children. At present, the treatment of iron deficiency anemia in clinic is oral iron, intravenous iron and combined nutrition intervention. The advantages and disadvantages of these methods were compared in terms of efficacy and adverse effects.
