摘要 通过解析观果植物在城市园林中的潜在价值及特殊功能，在调查的基础上，对张家界市观果植物的应用现状进行分析和总结，指出存在的问题。同时统计了张家界市常应用的观果植物，并且提出如何选择观果植物种类以进行更新，主张利用野生观果植物资源，并总结适合张家界地区的观果植物。

Abstract By analyzing the potential value and special function of ornamental plants in urban gardens， the application status of ornamental fruit plants in Zhangjiajie was analyzed and summarized on the basis of investigation， and the existing problems were pointed out. At the same time， fruit plants commonly used in Zhangjiajie were calculated， and the selection and regeneration of plant species in Zhangjiajie were pointed out， such as using wild ornamental plant resources. Fruit plants suitable for Zhangjiajie area were summed up.

觀果植物不仅可以丰富园林景观植物种类，更可以丰富园林景观层次和季相变化，给人以硕果累累、春华秋实、丰收富足的感受，具有重要的研究价值。我国虽然拥有悠久的果树栽培历史，但观果植物在城市园林中的应用较少。就张家界而言，独特的地理位置与气候条件使其成为一个植物王国。张家界的森林覆盖率近70%，有植物种类1 000余种。仅木本植物就有93科、517种，比整个欧洲还多出1倍以上。张家界市区在植物造景时对于本土植物的应用与推广却十分不尽人意，更别说是对于观果植物的推广与应用的研究。果实常被作为食物，而很少用于观赏。随着园林景观的发展，果树由单纯的经济价值转向具有社会价值和观赏作用。

为了解张家界市当前所应用的观果植物种类和应用形式，笔者调查了张家界市区的公园，部分旅游景区，如天门山、森林公园、大峡谷、土家风情园，以及道路街旁观果植物，并对调查结果进行统计，分析存在的难题并提出建议，为在园林景观中更好地应用观果植物提供方向。……
