1.建筑节能材料在建筑节能中的地位

1.1节能降耗是全社会面临的重要任务

建筑行业能耗占到了全社会总能耗的40%～50%，墙体材料在房屋建材中约占70%，是建筑材料的重要组成部分，建筑物能量的损耗约50%来自墙体。“十二五”期间，中国城镇将新建40～50亿平方米建筑，在全国范围内执行65%的节能标准。

1.2节能建筑材料是建筑节能的根本途径

节能建筑材料作为节能建筑的重要物质基础，是建筑节能的根本途径。在建筑中使用各种节能新型墙体材料的发展应有利于生态平衡、环境保护和节约能源，既要符合国家产业政策要求，又要能改善建筑物的使用功能，同时坚持“综合利废、因地制宜、市场引导”的原则。

2.新型建筑墙体材料的分类

就其品种而言，新型墙体材料主要包括砖、块、板等，如粘土空心砖、掺废料的粘土砖、非粘土砖、建筑砌块、加气混凝土、轻质板材、复合板材等。

2.1空心黏土砖

在我國开展墙改工作初期，墙体材料主要为实心黏土砖，为了打破这一局面，所以用空心黏土砖逐步替代实心黏土砖的使用，以有效控制实心黏土砖的生产与使用。
