摘 要：地名是人们赋予某一特定空间位置上自然或人文地理实体的专有名称。地名一般由最先居住在当地的民族所命名，具有地名辖域族群深厚的民族文化特性。侗族居住地的地名蕴涵有独具侗族民族特点的文化元素，是侗族文化不可缺少的重要组成部分。

Abstract： Place names are the proper names of a particular spatial location entrusted by the people about the natural or human geographical object. Place names are generally named after the local ethnic groups， so the place names have grumous characteristics of national culture. The place names of the Dong Peoples residence contain colorful cultural elements， which is an indispensable and important part of the culture of the Dong Minority. By the study of the names of the Dong people， we can know about the geographical features， the status of economic development and cultural attributes and so on. The purpose of this paper is to explore the cultural implication and analyze the structural characteristics of the place names of the Dong Minority， further deepening the understanding of the long-standing ethnic culture of the Dong minority.

榕江縣是一个少数民族聚居地，主要有侗族、苗族、水族、瑶族等几个少数民族聚居在一起，所以它的少数民族文化底蕴深厚、丰富多彩。县内侗族有7个支系，主要以车江三宝千户侗寨、寨蒿晚寨（四十八侗寨）、乐里七十二侗寨、栽麻宰荡、大利侗寨为代表。与榕江县城只有一河之遥的章鲁村的侗语为侗语的基准音。榕江县的少数民族文化深厚，不仅体现在语言、歌舞、风土人情等等，其中侗族地名的发展也蕴含着深厚的文化底蕴。侗族是一个古老的民族，地名文化发展比较稳定，通过对地名的起源、沿革和发展进行研究可以了解侗族历史文化历程，还可以了解当地的经济发展状态和民族语言形态，对保护和传承侗族文化有重要的意义。

一、榕江县侗族聚居区地名的特征

（一）侗族地名的起源

侗族是百越人的后裔，统称为“骆越”。贵州的侗族主语分布在黔东南州，根据侗语语音的差异及特点，学界把侗语区分为北部侗语区和南部侗语区，榕江划属南部侗语区。榕江侗族的七大支系，是根据文化差异和地理位置来区分的，所以各个地区的侗语地名有其独特的文化个性。……
