一、文体概述

欢迎词（welcoming speech）是在正式场合迎接客人时的致辞。其特点是热情、友好、愉快、短小精悍。它由标题、称呼、正文组成。而当客人要离别时，主人和客人又欢聚一堂，互相问候，并致祝愿，表示不舍之情，以增进友谊。这时主人的话叫欢送词（send-off speech）。

二、必备短语

1. on behalf of ... 代表……

2. an honour for sb. to do有幸……

3. to give/ express our warmest welcome to向……表示欢迎

4. greet sb with warm applause用热烈掌声欢迎某人

5. give a speech发表演讲

6. in bidding farewell to在临别之际

三、套用句式
