【Abstract】 Objective:To observe the effect on blood lipids, vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and nitric oxide(NO) by the application of Atorvastatin in patients with unstable angina.Method:36 patients with unstable angina were selected. In conventional treatment, all patients were oral Atorvastatin 40 mg/d. the serum lipids,VEGF and NO levels were detected in patients after they last 8 weeks.Result:After Atorvastatin treatment for 8 weeks, the values in patients with TC,LDL-C,TG had been significantly reduced compared with that before treatment, and the values in patients with HDC-C,VEGF and NO had been significantly increased compared with that before treatment. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion:In the treatment of unstable angina pectoris,Atorvastatin in the treatment of unstable angina, not only has a lipid-lowering effect, more importantly,it has a stable plaque, improvement and the protective effect on vascular endothelial function.
