【摘要】佛教传入我国已经具有一定的历史，其建筑装饰艺术也是别具一格。本文将仔细介绍分析佛教建筑的装饰艺术，明确当代佛教建筑装饰艺术风格流变，以及当代佛教建筑装饰艺术发展中遇到的问题，进行当代佛教内建筑装饰艺术的初探。通过对两汉时期到现代佛教建筑特点的分析，发现佛教建筑具有多元化、复杂化、大型化等特点，然而，佛教建筑却并未成功实现现代化的转型，仍然存在仿制明清时代佛寺、建筑材料不够环保等问题，需要相关佛教设计者结合佛教文化以及审美理念，进一步对佛教建筑装饰艺术做出突破。

佛教在我国已有2000年以上历史，其深厚的文化底蕴以及建筑装饰的艺术更是值得我们深究。佛教由印度传入中国，无论是在印度还是我国，都对当地的文化、政治以及经济等具有深远影响。由于佛教能够反映下层人民的劳苦，受到了多数人的追捧；同时，佛教的传入，更有利于统治者传播“天权神授”的观念，巩固自己的统治地位，因此，统治阶级也极力推崇佛学，佛教便由此在我国逐渐盛行，慢慢渗透到了我国传统文化的各个领域。在传入我国的过程中，不断与我国文化进行摩擦、碰撞，并逐渐相互融合，在本身木质结构的基础上，兼容了我国文化中的儒学思想，端庄又不失神秘感。佛教在我国分布范围较广，其中安徽九华山以及四川峨眉山的佛寺更是独具我国佛寺的建筑特点，成为当地佛教文化的缩影以及我国佛寺的代表建筑，现在更是游人如织的旅游胜地。……
