An 85-year-old man was sitting on the sofa in his house along with his 45-year-old highly educated son.Suddenly a crow sat on their window.The father asked his son，“What is this？”

The son replied，“It is a crow.”

After a few minutes，the father asked his son the second time，“What is this？”

The son said，“Father，I have just now told you‘It’s a crow.’”

After a little while，the old father again asked his son the third time，“What is this？”

At this time the son said to his father a little angrily，“It’s a crow，a crow，a crow.”

A little after，the father again asked his son the fourth time，“What is this？”

This time the son shouted at his father，“Why do you keep asking me the same question again and again although I have told you so many times‘IT IS A CROW.’？Are you not able to understand this？”

The father went to his room quietly and came back with an old diary，which he had kept since his son was born.

On opening a page，he asked his son to read that page.

“Today my little son aged three was sitting with me on the sofa，when a crow was sitting on the window.My son asked me 23 times what it was，and I replied to him all 23 times that it was a crow.I hugged him lovingly each time he asked me the same question.I did not at all feel angry，instead I love my innocent1child.”

Reading this，the son came to tears.

一位85岁的老人和他45岁受过高等教育的儿子正坐在家里的沙发上。突然，一只乌鸦停在他们的窗户上，父亲问儿子：“这是什么？”

儿子回答：“这是一只乌鸦。”

几分钟以后，父亲第二次问儿子：“这是什么？”儿子说：“爸，我刚刚跟你说过，这是一只乌鸦。”又过了一会儿，父亲第三次问儿子：“这是什么？”

此时，儿子有些愤怒地说道：“这是一只乌鸦，一只乌鸦！一只乌鸦！”又过了一会儿，父亲第四次问儿子：“这是什么？”

这个时候，儿子对着父亲大吼：“尽管我已经多次告诉你，这是一只乌鸦，你为何一次又一次地问相同的问题？难道你弄不明白吗？”

父亲默默地走向他的房间，拿着一本旧日记本回来。从儿子出生之日起他就一直保留着这个日记本。

父亲打开了一页，让儿子看。

“今天，我三岁的小儿子和我坐在沙发上时，忽然一只乌鸦停在窗户上，我的儿子问了我23次，那是什么。我回答了他23次，那是一只乌鸦。他每次问相同的问题的时候，我都亲切地抱了他一下。我一点也不生气，相反，我爱这个天真的孩子。”

看到这里，儿子已经泣不成声。
