摘 要：美国中学竞赛具有健全的组织管理体系、科学的竞赛方法、丰富的项目设置、持续高涨的参与度、合理的赛季安排等特征。在借鉴美国中学体育竞赛体系和分析我国学校体育竞赛现状的基础上提出我国中学应重视体育竞赛作用，树立以人为本的体育竞赛组织理念，建立大众化、日常化的竞赛模式。

Characteristics of and inspirations from American middle school sports competitions

Abstract： The American middle school completion system is characterized by complete organization and management systems， scientific competition methods， various event settings， an ever increasing degree of participation， rational competition season arrangements etc. By learning from the American middle school completion system and analyzing the current situation of school sports competitions in China， the authors put forward that middle schools in China should value the functions of sports competitions， establish a people oriented sports competition organization conception， and build popularized， routinized competition modes.

美国中学竞赛体系是“小学-中学-大学-职业赛事” 金字塔式竞技体育人才链的重要环节，不仅带动小学体育竞赛的开展，也为大学乃至职业联赛、奥运会等赛事输送优秀人才。我国中学体育工作长期以来以体育教学为主、课外活动为辅的形式进行，缺乏系统全面的体育竞赛，导致学生体育锻炼不足和优秀竞赛后备人才输送不力。因此，美国中学体育竞赛体系对我国中学体育工作的开展、后备人才培养模式的探索具有较好的借鉴价值。

1 美国中学体育竞赛的特征

1.1 健全的组织管理体系

美国中学竞技比赛管理体系由全美州立高中协会联盟、州体育协会、学区体育运动协会、区联盟体育协会以及学校体育部或俱乐部构成。全美州立高中协会联盟创建于1920年，是美国中学竞技运动的最高领导机构。大部分州运动协会成立于20世纪初，由各学校代表组成董事会负责本州的相关竞赛事务。学区体育运动协会主要负责本区内的体育竞赛工作，并配合和服从州体育协会的活动组织安排。……
