摘 要 当今各行各业国际化的趋势越来越明显，伴随而来的英语全球化的发展趋势越来越快。今天，全世界大约有四分之一的人在说英语，英语已经成为名符其实的全球通用语言。 当前国内高校都很重视英语教学，并对英语教学提出了越来越高的要求。传统的英语教学时针对的是行政班级，基本“一刀切”。然教学时面对的教学对象必然是有差别的。因而，笔者鉴于民办高校学生的学习基础，学习能力等实情，选择部分学生开展了关于民办高校英语分级教学的研究和实践，探索了当前民办高校大学英语教学模式的改革，并通过实践，总结了关于大学英语分级教学在民办高校中的优势和一些亟待解决的问题。

Abstract Today all walks of international trends are becoming evident， accompanied by English globalization trends faster. Today， about a quarter of the world's people speak English， English has become a truly universal language. Current domestic universities attach great importance to the teaching of English and English teaching increasingly high requirements. Traditional English teaching is for the executive class， the basic is "one size fits all." Teaching object and then face the inevitable teaching there is a difference. Thus， the author's view of private college students learn the basics， learn the facts ability to select some students to carry out research and practice on college English Teaching Private explore the current reform of college English teaching model of private universities， and through practice， summed up on college English teaching at private colleges in the advantages and some problems to be solved.

民办高校作为我国高等教育的重要组成部分，它录取的学生与一、二本高校学生相比，多数学生文化基础、自我约束能力、学习习惯养成相对较弱，而有一部分学生的高考成绩靠近，甚至超过二类本科的录取分数线，这部分学生基础扎实。因而，民办高校的学生对英语学习的兴趣和英语学习的结果呈现出参差不齐的状况：学生平均水平较差，但又存在拔尖的学生;英语学习兴趣不高，但又有提高英语水平、通过大学英语四级考试，甚至雅思、托福的迫切需求;学生依赖性较强，缺乏自主学习的能力。在教学中，不对学生进行分类教学，势必造成一……
