摘要：在社会价值取向日益多元的今天，思想道德建设任务艰巨而紧迫。党的十八大报告关于社会主义核心价值观的“三个倡导”，为我们加强思想道德建设提供了行动纲领和指南。本文以港口企业职工思想道德建设为例，论证了新形势下加强职工思想道德建设的重要性，分析了职工思想道德教育工作现状，并结合实际提出了提高职工思想道德水平和职业素质的途径和方法。

近年来，中央倡导并开展了多项旨在提高全民族文化道德水平的活动。从2001年《公民道德建设实施纲要》20字基本道德规范，到2012年党的十八大提出关于社会主义核心价值体系24字“三个倡导”要求。十多年间，各项丰富多彩、形式多样的道德实践活动逐步深入人心，公民自觉遵守社会公德、家庭美德、职业道德的意识不断增强，社会文明程度不断提高。

联系到秦皇岛港职工思想道德建设的实际，我们看到，在党政工各部门的共同努力下，多年来坚持以文明创建为主线，以文明职工活动为重点，职工道德建设取得了显著成效，职工队伍的精神面貌亦有了明显的改观。职工服务意识明显增强，遵纪守法、助人为乐等典型事例层出不穷，在港区、社会、家庭营造了良好的道德建设氛围。当前，在面临港口经营发展对职工思想道德教育工作要求越来越高、期望值越来越强的新形势下，还需要进一步适应新形势、新任务、新要求，与时俱进、创新发展，拓展空间和舞台，不断增强职工思想道德教育的针对性和有效性。……
