摘 要 ESP课程设计是影响ESP教学效果的重要因素之一。不同的ESP课程设计模式将导致不同的教学效果。因此，本文分析了目前ESP教学中常见的三种课程设计模式的优缺点，并指出国内ESP课程设置应以学习为中心，在课程设计过程中充分考虑学生这一中心因素，突出学生的语言学习过程。

ESP Course Design Pattern Analysis and its Impact on Domestic

Abstract ESP course design is one of the most crucial factors which have an effect on the efficiency of ESP teaching. Different approaches of course design will lead to different efficiency of ESP teaching. On account of this， this paper analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of three approaches to ESP course design which are prevail in the current ESP teaching. Also it pointed out that domestic ESP curriculum development should base on the learning-centered approach， learners should be fully taken into account in the ESP course design process， and learners' learning process should be emphasized in the design procedure.

0 引言

专门用途英语（English for Specific Purpose， 简称ESP），是指与某种特定职业或学科相关的英语，是根据学习者的特定目的和特定需要而开设的英语课程。①专门用途英语课程设计是ESP教师在ESP教学工作中必不可少的任务。Dudley-Evans & St John （1998）在对ESP教师的几点要求中就曾提出ESP教师必须是合格的课程设计者。②优秀的ESP课程设计将有效地提高ESP教学效率和学习效率。③然而不同的ESP课程设计过程将导致不同的教学效果。因此，积极有效地探讨ESP课程设计模式对国内ESP课程设置有一定的理论意义和实践价值。

1 ESP课程设计模式

需求分析是ESP课程设计的前提和基础，然而需求分析所获得的信息并不能与课程设计一一对应。课程设计是ESP课程设计者对其通过需求分析所获得的原始数据进行筛选、归纳和整理的过程，最终目的是使学习者掌握特定的语言知识和技能。目前主要有以下三种ESP课程设计模式：

1.1 以语言为中心的课程设计模式

以语言为中心的课程设计模式尽可能地把目标需求分析直接转化为ESP课程内容， 其在ESP发展早期盛行，同时也是ESP教师最为熟悉的课程设计模式。……
