Peter Gene Hernandez（彼得·基恩·埃尔南德斯）生于1985年，以其艺名Bruno Mars（布鲁诺·马尔斯）出名，是美国的创作型歌手、音乐制作人。Bruno的音乐作品被认为展现了多变的风格，含有多种音乐流派的元素。

Bruno自幼就开始创作音乐，童年时期在当地的多家音乐场所表演后，他立志以音乐为业，在高中毕业后搬到洛杉矶，开始为其他艺人制作歌曲。之后加入了制作团队The Smeezingtons。在摩城唱片公司度过一段并不成功的职业生涯后，Bruno在2009年同大西洋唱片公司签约。Bruno嗓音独特，2010年10月，他发布了自己的首张专辑《Doo-Wops & Hooligans》，以冠军单曲《Just the Way You Are》和《Grenade》主打的这张专辑迅速攀上排行榜冠军位置，并凭借《Just the Way You Are》在2011年第53届格莱美奖上获得最佳流行男歌手奖。
