摘要：本文通过对高速公路的发展历程简述，结合世界高速公路发展情况对比我国的实际发展情况，找出高速公路走向信息化，现代化，智能化中存在的不足，由此引出现代通信技术在高速公路发展中的运用，体现出现代通信技术在高速公路中的关键性，重要性。综合世界信息技术发展运用情况，具体到我国的实际国情，从而表现出我国现代通信技术运用到高速公路中的进步与辉煌，总结经验，吸取教训，展望我国现代通信技术运用到高速公路中的前景，并提出笔者粗浅的意见。

Abstract: this paper briefly the development course of highway, combined with the world highway development in China compared the actual development of cases, and find the way to the information highway, modernization, intelligent, the deficiencies, drawn out modern communications technology in the use of the expressway development, which reflects the modern communication technology on the road is the key, importance. Comprehensive world information technology application situation, specific to the actual condition of our country, so as to show our modern communication technology to progress in the highway and brilliant, summarizing the experience, and learn lessons from the past, look to the China's modern communication technology to the prospect of highway, and puts forward the author points of views.

一、高速公路的发展历程

随着世界经济的发展，高速公路应运而生，客观来讲，高速公路是市场经济蓬勃发展重要产物之一。首先，经济发展，世界的工业化和城市化的进程加快，城市的建设，人口的聚集，迫切需要有快捷的公路高速联通，便于交流。其次，汽车成为了人们生活，工作中必不可少的重要工具，汽车技术的进步，对高速公路的基础设施，速度保障有了更高的要求。

20世纪30年代以来西方一些国家开始准备修建高速公路，自从60年代以来世界各国高速公路取得了辉煌的发展。其中尤其以欧美为代表。从二十世纪初，美国的汽车技术飞速发展，汽车的保有量急剧增长，逐渐进入了“汽车化社会”从1939年开始，议会讨论决定并制定了称作“州际国防公路网”的高速公路建设计划。……
