摘要:随着我国城市化的快速推进，城市人口的大量涌入，城市广场作为城市市民聚集的重要场所，生活、文化活动的中心，城市广场的建设显得越来越重要，城市广场的建设又是城市建设的一个组成部分，城市广场绿地建设则是生态园林城市建设的重要组成部分，绿化植物在城市广场中有着至关重要的作用，不仅具有调节人类心理和精神的功能，而且是城市广场景观中最特殊因素。本文就广场绿化配置作了分析，同时对城市广场的植物配置提出了自己的看法，以突出时代特征和城市特色，提升城市景观形象，提高城市文化品位，优化城市空间为市民提供一个良好的户外休闲活动场所。

前言

随着我国经济社会的快速发展，城市化进程的加快，人们对城市环境的要求越来越高，城市广场发挥的作用也越来越大。现在很多城市都加强了城市广场的规划建设，甚至将其列为“民心工程”、“为民工程”，精心谋划建设。城市广场是城市当中重要的交流、休闲与陶冶情操的公共活动空间，它不仅仅是简单的空地和绿化，也是满足市民娱乐休闲要求的、人性化的公共空间。它往往也成为表现城市特点的标志。

如今，随着人类的进步，城市的发展，根据人们自身的不同需求，人们已经意识到了广场所要蕴含其他的社会功能，但并没有深入研究如何充分发挥这些功能。……
