摘要：随着我国国民经济的不断发展，房地产业也在迅速的向前发展中，城市住宅小区建设从区位优势为主导，到项目基本配套为主，然后进入目前的环境。生态为主的阶段在园林设计过程中，要坚持“因地制宜、以人为本、科学布局、体现自然”的设计思想，努力使园林的设计达到住宅小区的要求，营造和谐的生活环境。住宅小区的“生态园林”也呼之欲出，建设好住宅小区的生态园林关键在于园林设计。对此，笔者在此提出一些关于住宅小区园林设计方面的想法。

一 园林设计强调生态性

1.植物多样性的生态功能

中国园林从其选址到兴建往往都是根据园主的意愿甚至在园 主直接参与下而完成的，正是由于这一点，使得传统园林在其漫长的发展过程中，一直与园主的行为、心理密切相关，在园主与环境要素之间形成了良好的互动关系：也正是基于此，才使其充满了生机和活力。

强调人性化住宅小区的园林绿化设计，要特别强调人性化。人们进入绿地是为了休闲、运动和交流，因此， 园林绿化所创造的环境氛围要充满生活气息， 做到景为人用， 富有人情味。人们能在树荫下乘凉、聊天、散步，天真活泼的孩子们能在泥土和石缝中寻找小动物；老人们买菜回来能有个歇脚的地方。因此在住宅入口，直到分户入口，都要进行绿化，使人们尽量多接触绿色，多看到园林景观，可以随时随地地享受到新鲜空气、阳光雨露、鸟语花香以及和谐的人际关系。……
