Sydney,a more and more international city,is the capital of New South Wales,Australia.It is also the biggest and oldest city of Australia.The 2000 Sydney Olympic Games highly raises Sydney’s fame and publicity.200 years ago,it was totally wilderness here.After 200 years’painstaking developing and managing,Sydney has become the most prosperous city of Australia.Being called“New York in the Southern Hemisphere”,it is the center of business,trade,finance,tourism and culture.悉尼是澳大利亚新南威尔士州首府，澳大利亚最大、最古老的城市，也是一个日益国际化的大都市。2000年悉尼奥运会使悉尼的国际声望和知名度空前提高。200多年前，这里是一片荒原。经过两个世纪的艰辛开拓与经营，它已成为澳大利亚最繁华的现代化、国际化城市，有“南半球纽约”之称。如今的悉尼是澳大利亚第一大城市，也是商业、贸易、金融、旅游和文化中心。
