【Live and Study Abroad】

We all have a responsibility (责任) toward those around us and ourselves to ensure （确保）that we all remain (保持) safe in the school environment (环境).

●If you see anything that could be a danger to other people, report it immediately (马上) to a member of staff.

●Knives (刀) and other sharp items （利器） are not permitted (允许) in school.

●Never willfully （故意地） misuse (误用；滥用) equipment, or tamper （破坏） with things provided for (为……作准备)safety purposes—such as fire extinguishers (灭火器).

In an EMERGENCY （紧急情况） the alarm bell （警报器） will sound (响). This will be the continuous (连续的) ringing of the alarm bell.

If you hear the ALARM, follow the emergency code （条例）:

●Stop what you are doing and switch off (关掉) any equipment you are using.

●Close any windows that are near to you.

●Leave the building by the nearest exit (出口).

●Use any escape route (路线); no areas of the school are out of bounds (范围) in an EMERGENCY.

●DO NOT run.

●DO NOT waste (浪费) time collecting (收集) your possessions （个人物品）.

●Make your way quickly (快速地) and quietly to the assembly （集合） point on the school playground (操场).

●Line up （排队） quietly and wait for your teacher to take the register （点名）.

●Wait patiently (耐心地) until (直到) you receive (收到) further instructions (指示).

If you are the first to notice (注意到) an EMERGENCY:

1. Raise the ALARM e.g. sound the fire alarm, tell any member of staff.

2. Make sure (确定) everyone near you is WARNED (被提醒的；被通知的).

3. Make sure you are SAFE.

4. Follow the EMERGENCY code.
