“戏痴”宋克光

宋克光,山东省广饶县一个地地道道的农民,在家乡却颇有名气。他16岁与吕剧结缘,23岁自己带班子,凭着对吕剧的痴迷,23年带着他的庄户剧团走遍了青岛、淄博、济南、滨州等地的30多个县的村村落落。

一把琴,就是所有的乐器,两个人就是一台戏,没有戏时自己写,没有演员时招人自己教,凭着对吕剧的热爱,宋克光坚守在自己的艺术世界。他曾在青岛的街头巷尾唱过,在淄博的村里摆过场子,也曾搭起高戏台连唱7天,还曾为省里两个音像出版社录过唱片。一年数百场演出,无论是苦是乐,他只有一个信念,就是唱戏,唱吕剧。

出生在花官这个“吕剧窝子”里的宋克光,从小就是听着吕剧长大的。28年来,宋克光与吕剧相伴,即使身上只剩下几角钱时,他都没有放弃过。2007年,他带领的梨园剧团在全国服务农民服务基层文化建设工作中获得先进集体称号.这是山东省惟一获此称号的剧团,也是全国获此荣誉剧团中惟一一个由地地道道的农民创办的剧团。

从小就喜欢吕剧的宋克光走上演艺之路却是一个巧合。上世纪80年代初,各乡镇的文化站站长都驻村,当时花官文化站的驻村站长刘汝玺就住在宋克光村里。1982年,刘站长到惠民地区开会,看了滨县吕剧团演的吕剧《一墙之隔》后,感觉非常好,便把戏本带了回来物色演员排戏。当村里的人找到正在地里干活的宋克光,告诉他刘站长让其回家唱戏时,宋克光高兴得一路跑回了家。在当年的汇报演出上,他们唱的这出戏得了一等奖。从那以后,宋克光就算是真正开始了他的唱戏生涯。他所在的戏团也一时红火起来。

1984年年底,花官的吕剧团解散了,但迷上吕剧的宋克光不想就此退下戏台。

1985年过了春节,他与原剧团的其他两名演员一商量,决定合伙成立乐安吕剧团。随后他们请来了从县吕剧团退休的崔茂芝老师,招聘了新的演员,于当年阴历的九月,带着剧团到济南演出。由于演员大多学艺不精,在济南待了2个月后,剧团的开支难以维持,最后以解散告终。

不死心的宋克光决定和妻子李元英、崔老师的女儿崔小凤一块到济南去学艺,一学就是3个月。1987年过了春节,老艺人们因年龄大了不愿再出去唱戏,宋克光决定和妻子出去闯荡。当年农历正月十九,他携妻子和16岁的妹妹,抱着刚出生9个月的女儿来到了青岛,就在市场上、马路边拉开场子,他拉琴妻子唱,妹妹看着女儿,一唱又是一年。

到了1988年,宋克光的剧团有了9名成员。他们再次来到青岛,“仍旧是摆地摊,有听的就唱,一出戏有时收入1分钱,有时5分钱,给最多的是1毛钱,一天下来,能挣五块多,周末人多时能挣到六七块钱,就这样在青岛待了2年。”

1990年10月,宋克光受邀请在淄川的庙会上唱几天戏,由于报酬太低,回来的路上,全团的费用只剩下几分钱,连回家的路费都没有了。这时的宋克光把心一横,找了个农家,和人家说明清况,演员们洗了洗脸,化了化妆,就在村上的篮球场拉开场子唱了起来,戏唱到一半时,已经收入了80元钱了。

“这时来了一个人,叫我跟他走一趟。当时年轻,心里很害怕,可看到剧团这个样,也管不了那么多了。当时找我的是这个村党支部书记,问我是干什么的。我就实话实说。当问我一场戏多少钱时,我狠了狠心要了个150元一场。”最后,村支部书记叫宋克光的剧团唱两天看看,如果唱得好,再介绍他到其他村里去唱。就这样,他在淄川杨家镇一唱就唱到了1996年。每天三场戏,那个镇的每个村每家企业都留下了他们的足迹。

1996年下半年,团里又有几名老艺人年龄大了退出了,宋克光与妻子李元英贷款2000元,购置了戏装,并吸收当地的几名吕剧爱好者入股,组织起了十几人的吕剧团,起名叫“梨园剧团”。作为剧团的发起人,他自然担任了团长这个重任。

当年冬天,排练好17场戏后,他又重新回到淄博。可当地人说,这戏不是原来的味。和宋克光熟悉的一位村书记说:“水平太低了,如果以后还是这个水平就不要来了。”

羞愧难当的宋克光转身就走。他请来一位老艺人教那些新演员学戏,再回青岛摆地摊。就这样,梨园剧团在青岛呆了一年,水平也提上去了。随后他们又回到淄博,一直唱到1999年底。

2003年宋克光回到家乡广饶发展。山东文化音像出版社的人找到了宋克光,让其为他们出录唱片。年底,宋克光为山东文化音像出版社录制了14出戏。2004年至2006年,梨园剧团一行13人又应齐鲁音像出版社之邀,在山东省艺术馆进行演出,先后把《豆汁记》、《空棺记》、《双钗记》等46出传统戏,录制成影碟并在全省出版发行。这批影碟在胶东、淄博、东营等地音像市场十分畅销。

现在宋克光又写了20出新戏,今年打算再录制成唱片。“不是为了钱,主要是想给剧团的演员留个纪念,也希望有更多的人能听到这些传统的戏。”

唱了近30年的宋克光已经离不开吕剧了。妻子李元英是他当年招进剧团的演员。如今,夫妻两个切磋共进,在吕剧艺术中徜徉忘返。

Song Keguang is a farmer of Guangrao County, Shandong Province who is very famous in his hometown. At the age of 16, he started to learn the local Lu opera, which is popular in Shandong Province. At the age of 23, he established his own Lu opera troupe. Over the past 23 years, with his deep love for Lu opera, he has headed his troupe to give touring performances in 30 counties of such areas as Qingdao, Zibo, Jinan and Binzhou.

One single Huqin (a kind of the two-stringed musical instrument) was the only musical accompaniment Song Keguang used to have. Without any play script, he acted as the playwright himself. Without actors and actresses, he recruited fresh talent and taught them how to perform in the plays. With his deep love for Lu opera, Song Keguang lives in his own artistic world. He used to sing Lu opera at the streets of Qingdao and in the villages of Zibo. He used to sing on a stage for consecutive seven days. He used to record albums for two audio-video producers in Shandong Province. All the year around, he performed on the stage several hundreds of times. Whether encountering difficulties or experiencing happiness, all that he thought about was only singing Lu operas.

In the later half of 1996, Song Keguang and his wife bought costumes with a 2,000 yuan bank loan and recruited several Lu opera lovers as shareholders, thus establishing a Lu opera troupe comprised of around ten people, which was named the “Pear Orchard Troupe.” As the sponsor, Song Keguang naturally assumed the leadership of the troupe.

So far, Song Keguang has written 20 new play scripts and is planning to record new albums this year.

“Its not for money, I only wish to leave some commemorative things for the actors and actresses and wish that more people can listen to these traditional operas,” said he.

Singing Lu opera for nearly three decades, nowadays Song Keguang is inseparable from this art. His wife Li Yuanying is an actress he once recruited for the troupe. Nowadays, the couple is engaged in Lu opera performance together.

In 2007, the troupe Song Keyuan heads was granted the title of “Advanced collective in terms of serving the farmers and the serving the basic-level cultural building work nationwide,” which was the only troupe that was granted this honor as well as the only troupe run by farmers among the troupes granted this honor throughout the country.
