Wenjie is upset（沮丧的）. He fails his first test of this new school year. “There must be a reason behind everything，” Wenjie wonders， “why this happens to me？” After thinking for a while， Wenjie finds his answer， “Because I don’t properly（充分地） prepare myself for the start of this school year.”

To turn things around（扭转局面）， Wenjie decides to take action. He begins by reviewing（回顾） his notes and homework assignments（家庭作业）， making sure that he understands everything. He asks his teachers for help with anything he doesn’t understand. He also makes a plan to catch up on any missed assignments.

Next， Wenjie organizes（整理） his study area at home. He clears away any distractions（令人分心的事物） and makes sure he has all the things he needs， like pens， paper， and textbooks（课本）. He also makes a schedule（计划表）to ensure that he spends enough time on each subject.

Wenjie also asks his parents for help. They help him prepare healthy meals and snacks， so he would have plenty of energy throughout the day. They encourage him to take breaks when needed and to get enough rest at night.

With a better plan in place， Wenjie is able to improve his grades and catch up with his classmates. He feels more confident to face the challenges of the new school year. He thinks this experience is a valuable（有價值的） lesson for him.
