Planning, hosting, and enjoying a good party is a great way to build and strengthen friendships (加深友谊)! An important part in the success of a party is the invitation. There is some advice on how to send out good invitations and welcome happy guests!
Make your invitation fit the party theme (主题). For example, a disco-themed party invitation could have a large disco ball. People are likely to look at your invitation and would like to join in the party if the first look is good.
Know the level of formality (正式程度) of your party. A formal party should have a more formal invitation, such as a letter. An informal (非正式的) party invitation is up to you—a phone call or e-mail would all work fine.
Include all important information guests will need to know. That’s usually the time and date of the party, location and where to call for more information. And do guests need to bring anything, such as food, drinks, swimsuits and so on? Besides these, you may want to add a few selling points to the invitation. Will there be different kinds of cheese?
