粘胶纤维分子结构及热稳定性研究

粘胶纤维是以天然纤维素(浆粕)为原料,利用纤维素黄酸酯溶液,经过纺制形成的再生纤维素纤维。粘胶纤维性能与棉纤维具有很大相似之处,吸湿性能较强,容易上色,具有较好的可纺性,广泛应用于织造、制绒、制线、针织等领域[1-6]。中红外(MIR)光谱具有方便、快捷的优点[7-11]广泛应用于常温下粘胶纤维结构研究领域[12-13]。不同温度下,粘胶纤维热稳定性是纺织行业相关技术人员所关心的重要技术领域,但相关研究少见报道。变温中红外(TD-MIR)光谱应用于化合物热稳定性研究领域[14-23],并能提供更加丰富的光谱信息。本文采用MIR及TD-MIR光谱,开展了粘胶纤维的结构及热稳定性研究,为我国相关企业粘胶纤维产品开发及应用,提供了重要的科学参考。

1 实验部分

1.1 材料

粘胶纤维(浙江瑞康日用品有限公司生产)

1.2 仪器

Spectrum 100型傅里叶红外光谱仪(美国PE公司),Golden Gate型单次内反射ATR-FTIR附件。

1.3 实验方法

303 K的温度条件下,以空气为背景,每次对于信号进行8次扫描累加,MIR光谱数据的获得采用PE公司Spectrum v 6.3.5软件。

2 结果与讨论

2.1 粘胶纤维分子MIR光谱研究

采用MIR光谱开展了粘胶纤维分子结构研究(图1)。

首先采用一维MIR光谱开展了粘胶纤维分子结构的研究(图1A)。实验发现:3308.21cm-1和3299.89cm-1处的吸收峰是粘胶纤维分子O-H伸缩振动模式(νO-H-粘胶纤维-一维);2924.62cm-1处的吸收峰是粘胶纤维分子CH2不对称伸缩振动模式(νasCH2-粘胶纤维-一维);1076.68cm-1(νC-O-1-粘胶纤维-一维)、1012.09cm-1(νC-O-2-粘胶纤维-一维) 和 993.65cm-1(νC-O-3-粘胶纤维-一维)处的吸收峰是粘胶纤维分子CO伸缩振动模式(νC-O-粘胶纤维-一维)。进一步开展了粘胶纤维分子的二阶导数MIR光谱(图1B)、四阶导数MIR光谱(图1C)及去卷积MIR光谱研究(图1D),相关光谱数据见表1。

由表1数据研究发现,粘胶纤维分子的二阶导数MIR光谱及四阶导数MIR光谱并不能增加原谱图(一维MIR光谱)的分辨能力,而去卷积MIR光谱则过于复杂,给粘胶纤维分子官能团归属带来一定的困难。

2.2 粘胶纤维分子一维TD-MIR光谱研究

在4000 cm-1~600 cm-1频率范围内,采用一维TD-MIR光谱进一步开展了温度变化对于粘胶纤维分子结构的影响(图2)。

实验发现:粘胶纤维分子主要官能团的吸收频率集中在“4000 cm-1~3000 cm-1” 、“3000 cm-1~2800 cm-1”及“1100 cm-1~950 cm-1” 等3个频率区间。

2.2.1 第1频率区间粘胶纤维分子一维TD-MIR光谱研究

首先在第1频率区间开展了粘胶纤维分子热稳定性研究(图3)。

实验发现,随着测定温度的升高,粘胶纤维分子νO-H-粘胶纤维-一维对应的吸收频率出现了蓝移趋势,对应的吸收强度略有增加。这主要是因为,温度的增加,进一步破坏了粘胶纤维分子内及分子间的氢键作用,而出现了更多的游离羟基,相关光谱信息见表2。

2.2.2 第2频率区间粘胶纤维分子一维TD-MIR光谱研究

进一步在第2频率区间开展了粘胶纤维分子热稳定性研究(图4)。

实验发现,随着测定温度的升高,粘胶纤维分子νasCH2-粘胶纤维-一维对应的吸收频率出现了蓝移趋势,对应的吸收强度略有增加,相关光谱信息见表2。

2.2.3 第3频率区间粘胶纤维分子一维TD-MIR光谱研究

最后在第3频率区间开展了粘胶纤维分子热稳定性研究(图5)。

实验发现,随着测定温度的升高,粘胶纤维分子νC-O-1-粘胶纤维-一维和νC-O-3-粘胶纤维-一维对应的吸收频率出现了红移趋势,相应的吸收强度进一步增加;粘胶纤维分子νC-O-2-粘胶纤维-一维则对于温度变化比较敏感,其对应的吸收峰在373K的温度下消失,相关光谱信息见表2。

3 结论

粘胶纤维分子的中红外吸收模式主要包括:νO-H、νasCH2和νC-O。粘胶纤维分子的二阶导数MIR光谱、四阶导数MIR光谱和去卷积MIR光谱,并没有增加原光谱的谱图分辨能力。在303 K~393 K的温度范围内,随着测定温度的升高,粘胶纤维分子主要官能团对应的吸收频率及强度均有一定的改变,其热稳定性进一步降低。
