“技艺”之于建筑的重要性自当不言而喻，不过要想将建筑中的“技”（technics）与“艺”（crafts）转变为“技艺”，却也并非字面上的组合那般轻而易举。对于“技艺”而言，“艺”是目的，“技”是途径，因此“技艺”意味着将“技术”转化为“艺术”。在建筑之中，技术是不可或缺的存在，但却不是充分必要的表现内容。如何将技术转变为建筑层面的艺术？这需要我们用一种建筑学的视角去看待技术及其运用。

As the latest work of Jiakun Architects,the Renovation of Tianbao Cave District of Erlang Town can not only be regarded as an epitome of Liu Jiakun's recent design concept,but also convey his continued architectural thinking.Whether from the operation objects at the tectonic level like terrain,materials,structure and details,or the presentation results of light,form,use and space experience,the Renovation of Tianbao Cave District of Erlang Town is a practice that includes Jiakun Architects’consistent understanding of technology and other expressions of “technique and art”.
