城市的进化
——从北京前门H 地块项目谈起

编者按：北京隆福大厦及一商园区改造、常德老西门棚户区改造、北京前门H地块城市更新是发生在同一个时间段内（2011——2019）的三个城市更新实践项目。它们既有在共同的城市更新背景下要面临的相似问题，也各自具有所在不同城市区域及具体问题的独特性及代表性，共同呈现亦不足形成鲜明对比。隆福大厦改造是北京商业历史街区复兴的重要样本，以“陪伴式”设计面对首都城市功能定位的不断调整，复兴的同时保留了城市生活和记忆的能量；常德老西门棚户区改造呈现了三、四线城市在城市更新中面对历史、民生、人文的积极选择；前门H地块城市更新则因地处北京中轴线的核心位置和中轴线申遗而面临更为复杂、综合的问题。本期城事栏目以2020年“城市的进化”展览为基础，呈现了三个项目不同“进化”状态背后的多重、真实、复杂的内因与外力，以及建筑师面对诸多具体问题时的回应与思考。本篇采访中，崔愷院士就城市的进化是不间断的状态、城市更新中独立建筑师与大院建筑师的工作价值及彼此借鉴、因地制宜一事一议、对当代生活的介入与承载等话题进行了更为宏观视角的点评。

Editor's Note:The renovation of Beijing Longfu Mansion,Changde Laoximen and block H in Beijing Qianmen are three urban renewal projects that occurred in the same period (2011-2019).They not only have similar problems,but also have the uniqueness and representativeness of different regions.They both present together and form a sharp contrast.The renovation of Beijing Longfu Mansion is an important sample of the revival of Beijing's commercial and historical blocks.Facing the continuous adjustment of the capital city's functions with the "accompanying design",it retains the urban life and its memory while reviving.The renovation of Changde Laoximen presents the positive choice of lower-tier cities in the face of history,life and humanities in urban renewal.The renovation of block H in Beijing Qianmen is facing more complex and comprehensive problems because it is located in the core areas of Beijing central axis and the influence brought by the application of world heritage.Based on the exhibition of "Urban Evolution" in 2020,this column presents the internal and external forces behind the different "evolution" states of the three projects,as well as the architects' response and personal thinking.In this interview,Cui Kai made a more macro comment on the continuous state of urban evolution,the work value of studio’s architects and company’s architects as well as their references to each other,adjusting measures to local conditions,and the intervention and a carrier of contemporary life.
