内容摘要：全面调查了莫高窟壁画中的忍冬纹分布情况，通过对不同组合、构成方式的忍冬纹样等进行归纳分类，阐述壁画中忍冬纹的不同类型及特点。在实地考察统计的基础上列出莫高窟北朝洞窟各类纹样的量化比例以及分布状况，详细阐述了莫高窟北朝洞窟四个时期中不同纹样的覆盖、分布洞窟以及发展演变的脉络。

On the Artistic Characteristics of Honeysuckle Patterns

in the Northern Dynasties Caves at Mogao

Abstract：A comprehensive investigation of the distribution of honeysuckle patterns in the wall paintings of Mogao caves has produced a method for classifying the characteristics of these patterns into four types based on combination and constitution. Based on field investigation and statistical analysis of the above characteristics， this paper lists the quantitative proportions and spatial distribution of the various honeysuckle patterns， analyzes the distribution of these patterns in the caves of the four periods of the Northern Dynasties， and discusses how the patterns evolved.

忍冬紋样在莫高窟有着较长时间的流传，跨越多个朝代的北朝装饰纹样大致有这样几个类别：（1）火焰纹，主要表现佛背光;（2）几何纹，多用于边饰;（3）动物纹样，用于图案中的装饰，往往会与其他纹样结合起来使用;（4）云气纹，是中国传统的纹样类型之一;（5）植物纹样，是应用最为广泛而丰富的纹样，主要包括莲花纹和忍冬纹，还包括一些难以明确的植物类型。此外，还有一些表现帐幔、垂角、垂铃等形象的画面，也有学者称其为“垂角纹”“垂铃纹”等。

在装饰纹样中，忍冬纹是令人瞩目的一类纹样，在植物装饰纹样中占有最重要的地位。忍冬纹在莫高窟整个北朝时期直到隋朝都一直流行，这与中国北方佛教艺术中的装饰纹样发展趋势一致。敦煌壁画中忍冬纹样尤其丰富，应用广泛，从莫高窟忍冬纹样的发展演变，可以看到忍冬纹样在中国北朝至隋代的发展状况。

本文在全面调查莫高窟北朝壁画的基础上，对忍冬纹及其表现特点进行了分析，尽可能全面展示忍冬纹在壁画中的形态及演变情况。……
