英语中对句子的某一部分提出问题的疑问句，叫作特殊疑问句。特殊疑问句的特点是用疑问词开头，因疑问词通常是以字母w或h作词首，所以特殊疑问句分为W型疑问句或H型疑问句。特殊疑问句通常对具体人、事、时间、地点、原因、方式等进行提问。根据语序结构特点，特殊疑问句通常有如下两种形式：

1. 对主语或修饰主语的定语提问，其语序为：特殊疑问代词+陈述语序

Who took my umbrella by mistake just now？

Whose mother works in a children’s hospital？

2. 对其他句子成分提问，其语序为：特殊疑问代词（非主语） 或疑问副词+一般疑问句语序

What is he looking for over there？

Who did Aunt Huang look after yesterday morning？

When will you travel to Paris this month？

注意：常用疑问代词：what， who， which， whom， whose;

常用疑问副词（组）：when， where， why， how， how old， how long， what time， how many， how much， how far， how heavy， how high， how soon， how often。

【解析】B.考查疑问词用法辨析。句意为：“——萨拉，你和谁一起去参观台湾的？”“ ——我的父母。我们在那儿玩得非常愉快。”问句中缺少疑问代词作with的宾语，并且由答语中的“My parents.”可知此处是提问人，所以用who。故选B。

3. — sport will you take part in， Peter？

—The boys’ 800-meter race.

A. Where B. When C. Which D. How

【解析】C. 考查疑问词用法辨析。where哪里;when什么时候;which哪一个;how如何。根据答语“男子800米赛跑”可知，该句是问“彼得，你将要参加哪项比赛？”因此用which。故选C。

注意：“Which+名词”可以对食物或修饰名词的介词短语提问。例如：

The man in the black car is my uncle. →Which man is your uncle？

Simon likes hamburgers and sandwiches. →Which food does Simon like？

4. — do you put a lot of snakes into the forest？

—To protect the ecosystem.

A. Why B. Which C. How D. When

【解析】A. 考查疑问词用法辨析。句意为：“——为什么把这么多蛇放到森林里？”“——为了保护生态系统。”why为什么;which哪一个;how怎么样;when什么时候。答语为动词不定式，表示目的，由此可知前面问句的疑问词应为why。……
