中欧班列首发。“渝新欧”国际铁路联运班列载着惠普在重庆生产的电子产品，从重庆团结村出发，开行16天，顺利抵达德国杜伊斯堡。

The first China-Europe Railway Express train was dispatched. The “Yuxinou (Chongqing-Xinjiang-Europe)” International Railway train carrying electronic products produced by HP in Chongqing departed from Tuanjie Village, Chongqing, and arrived in Duisburg, Germany 16 days later.

“渝新欧”国际货运班列沿线国家海关便捷通关监管研讨会成功召开。中国、俄罗斯、德国、比利时等国海关达成共识：扩大“渝新欧”班列宣传，进一步简化通关流程，实行监管互助原则。

The Seminar on Supervision of Convenient Customs Clearance of Countries along the Yuxinou International Railway was convened. The customs offices of China, Russia, Germany, Belgium and other countries reached a consensus on catalyzing the publicity of the Yuxinou freight trains, further simplifying the customs clearance process, and implementing the principle of mutual supervision and assistance.

武汉-捷克首趟中欧班列试运行，打通了武汉本地产品直接出口欧洲的快捷经济运输大通道。

The first China-Europe Railway Express train from Wuhan to Czech Republic was put into trial operation, opening up a fast and economical transportation channel for the direct export of local products from Wuhan to Europe.

“渝新欧”（德国杜伊斯堡-重庆）班列迎来了首趟回程试验班列，实现了所有中欧班列中回程货“零的突破”。

The first inbound train of “Yuxinou” for test (Duisburg, Germany-Chongqing) arrived, which was also the first inbound China-Europe Railway Express train.

中欧班列“蓉欧快铁”首发，从成都青白江直达波兰罗兹，开拓了四川内陆地区对外开放新路径。

The first China-Europe Railway Express train (Chengdu-Europe Express) was destined from Qingbaijiang District, Chengdu to Lodz, Poland, opening up a new path for Sichuan, an inland province of China, to embrace the outside world.

中欧班列（郑州-汉堡）首趟班列正式开通。

The first China-Europe Railway Express train (Zhengzhou-Hamburg) was officially put into operation.

中国国家主席习近平到德国杜伊斯堡港参观，并观看重庆至杜伊斯堡港的“渝新欧”班列到达。

Chinese President Xi Jinping visited the Port of Duisburg, Germany, and witnessed the arrival of the “Yuxinou” freight train from Chongqing.

首届中欧班列国内协调会议在渝召开。重庆、成都、郑州、武汉、苏州、义乌等6地代表围绕国内中欧班列的品牌标志、运输组织、全程价格、服务标准、经营团队、协调平台“六统一”，以及强化机制和装备保障达成共识。

The first China-Europe Railway Express Domestic Coordination Meeting was convoked in Chongqing. Representatives from Chongqing, Chengdu, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Suzhou, and Yiwu reached consensus on unifying the brand logo, transportation organization, whole-journey price, service standards, operation team, and coordination platform of China-Europe Railway Express trains in China, and strengthening guarantees on mechanisms and equipment.

中国国家主席习近平在会见西班牙时任首相拉霍伊时表示，“义新欧”铁路计划从浙江义乌出发，抵达终点马德里，中方欢迎西方积极参与建设和运营，共同提升两国经贸合作水平。同年11月18日，首趟中欧班列“义新欧”从义乌出发。

Chinese President Xi Jinping said in a meeting with the then Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy that the “Yixinou (Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe)” freight train is scheduled to depart from Yiwu, Zhejiang to Madrid. China welcomes the active engagement of Spain in construction and operation of the railway to enhance the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. On November 18 of the same year, the first China-Europe Railway Express train of “Yixinou” set out from Yiwu.
