Abstract Ideal and belief education is the core of ideological and political work in colleges and universities， it is directly related to the fundamental issues of "what person trains"， "how to cultivate" and "For whom to train" in colleges and universities. Therefore， we should always put the lofty ideal of communism and the lofty belief of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the first place. Based on the current situation of ideal and belief education， liberal arts college of Wuyi University actively explores new educational models， such as "party history and national history"， "local red resources"， "excellent traditional culture of china"， "Chinese dream"， the subjectivity， enlightenment， practicality and pertinence of education have been strengthened， ideal belief education has achieved remarkable results.

大学生理想信念教育落实到具体内容，主要是要加强他们对有中国特色的社会主义道路、理论、制度和文化的自信，培养学生的社会主义核心价值观、民族自尊心、自信心、自豪感及爱国主义和社会责任感。长期以来，我国高校大学生理想信念教育效果难以令人满意，在教育安排上比较偏重于模式化的理论说教，思想政治理论课教师尤其容易把理想信念教育作为一般的知识课或理论课来对待，缺乏针对性、实效性和吸引力，容易使学生产生“虚假教育”的心理。而大学生理想信念教育内化是一个从“认知”、“认同”到“内化”的循序渐进过程，是春风化雨、润物无声的内化于心外化于行的过程，为此，增强教育的感染力和吸引力，探寻出一条符合思想政治工作规律理想信念教育新模式就显得迫在眉睫。

1 五邑大学文学院“四位一体”理想信念教育新模式实践

为提升大学生理想信念教育的针对性和实效性，五邑大学文学院以大学生党员和入党申请人员群体为实践对象，结合文科学生的专业特点，进行了“党史国史”、“本土红色资源”、“中华优秀传统文化”、“中国梦”为主题的“四位一体”教育新模式探索，充分结合主题党课、党员志愿服务活动、主题党日活动、各类传统节日和纪念日，精心组织一系列主体性、启发性、实践性、针对性和专业性强的主题教育实践活动，教育的实效性和针对性大大增强，深受学生党员和入党申请人员的喜欢，取得了较好的教育成效（见图1）。……
