1. acquaintance   n.   相識的人;泛泛之交

辨析：

比较glance，look，glare和stare

这四个动词都有“看”的意思，通常都作不及物动词，但“看”的动作和侧重有所不同。

glance指“匆忙地看一眼”，也指“粗略地、随便看看”;look表示“有意识地注意看”，将视线集中于某人或某物上，着重于看的动作;glare指“愤怒、凶狠地看”，强调敌对或威胁的态度;stare指“呆呆地看”，含有粗鲁的意味。
