Abstract： the rapid development and application of network information technology facilitates people's life and work， and at the same time promotes the development of society. However， the emergence of the Internet of things makes the exchange of goods more convenient and enriches the way of goods transaction. The information age is also an era of knowledge economy. With the continuous development of science and technology， it is believed that the Internet of things will continue to improve and usher in a better development prospect in practical application. Based on this， it is of great practical significance for this paper to make a deeper analysis of the "status quo analysis and prospect of iot development in the information age". This paper analyzes the development status and prospect of the Internet of things， aiming at promoting the application value of the Internet of things.
